A very exciting game, made of breaks and against breaks, with the opponents who have never allowed the Red Raiders to find and consolidate the decisive advantage, if not just a few minutes from the end. Davide Moretti, the #25 in Texas Tech jersey, absolute star of the second half, with 15 points scored, a true driver of his. The Red Raiders with this victory consolidate third place alone in Big 12, pending two consecutive trips (Iowa State and Oklahoma).

The two teams continue to respond to the sound of break and counter break, with the Red Raiders trying to escape and a Kansas State that is dying that always grabs opponents. Another five consecutive points by Davide Moretti kick off what will be the decisive partial of the race: in fact, with a good choral performance, Texas Tech finally manages to defensively fight the opponents and find the double-digit advantage, right with the baskets of #25, 64-51 at 1.37’ from the end.
