The last game of the regular season gives to the Red Raiders the second place in the final Big 12 ranking.

Texas Tech use a strong second half to overcome a 12-point deficit, with a great contribution from all coach  Beard senior guys at their last race at the Supermarkets Arena.

79-75 the final score with Evans (23 points) as a scorer leader.

The Red Raiders realises historical numbers and records sent their five-member senior class out in-style with the program’s highest Big 12 regular season finish and the most Big 12 wins for a single season in program history (23-8/11-7 Big 12).

Texas Tech will be the No. 2 seed at next week’s Phillips 66 Big 12 Championships and will face the winner of the Texas (7) – Iowa State (10) game at 6 p.m. CT during Thursday’s quarterfinal round at the Sprint Center in Kansas City.
