Last weekend the prestigious “Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off Cahmpionship” tournament was held in Uncasville, Connecticut, with two convincing victories of coach Beard’s Red Raiders.

Against of two important teams such as Boston College, and especially Northwestern University, which last March had even participated of March Madness, Davide Moretti and his teammates won 75 to 64 the semifinal with Boston College and 85 to 49 the final.

Extremely balanced the first race, with the decisive break only arrived in the final minutes of the match; the victory, never questioned, with Northwestern Un., is solid and clear.

MVP of both matches a superlative Keenan Evans, author of 29 and 25 points.

The Moro has played two silent but very solid games, helping the team in a constant way, even if called on the court in a fairly reduced way compared to the first two releases: 9 minutes with 3 points against Boston College and 14 minutes with 5 points in the final against Northwestern University.

Lubbock’s very cool environment, after this positive start to the season, and atmosphere that will be very hot in the next race against Wofford at United Supermarkets Arena on November 23rd 2017.
